Thomas Rettenwender, M.A., M.Arch., LEED AP, Architect (lic # C31723) – Principal Architect
Thomas has 20 years of international experience in Architectural Design and has become a leader in providing new solutions for truely ecological built environments. His studies with Zaha Hadid, Greg Lynn, and Coop Himmelb(l)au gave him the skills to deliver signature architectural designs that incorporate, in particular, the flow of the landscape and the movement of the human body. His work with local legends Mickey Muennig and Paul Kephart have informed his work with a signature ecological design vocabulary. His work with William McDonough and Amory Lovins have informed his work with a truly sustainable and efficient approach to his design work. Thomas is currently Lecturer at UC Santa Cruz, San Jose City College and Hartnell College teaching Ecological Building Design: Theory and Practice.
Constantine Papachristopoulos, M.Arch – Chief Executive Officer – Senior Project Architect
Constantine is CEO and Senior Project Architect with 20 years experience in environmental design. Since he graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria, where he studied with Coop Himmelb(l)au and Zaha Hadid, he has been practicing as an independent architect and design consultant in Vienna, New York and Greece. He is recognized for his resourceful designs in the retail industry, various residential programs, restaurants and bars, as well as big scale urban equipment and planning proposals. He has been awarded several times, most recently in 2013 for his landmark building in Salonika for which he received first place in an international design competition.
Napoleon Merana, B Arch – Senior Project Architect / Partner
Napoleon Merana specializes in a multidisciplinary approach to designing environments for art and architecture. He was adjunct professor at Woodbury University in Burbank, California and at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angles, California teaching computer modeling techniques. His education in Architecture lead him to study abroad at Vico Morcote SCI-ARC, Switzerland, at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria and received a B-Arch with distinction at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. While in Europe he studied architecture with the Ticino modernist Luigi Snoozi and Aurelio Galfetti, in Vienna with Wolf Prix and Aaron Betsky and back in Los Angeles with, Michele Saee, COA, Karl Chu and Eric Owen Moss. After graduating, Mr. Merana apprenticed at Studio Daniel Liebeskind in Berlin and has worked for internationally renowned architects Coop Himmelb(l)au, Frank O Gehry and Jon Jerde Partnership.
Katherine Delis, BA – Chief Financial Officer – Katherine has been a financial advisor, event planner, landscape designer and volunteer for non-profits in the Monterey Bay Area and in Central Virginia for over 30 years. She did her undergraduate work in Interior Design with an emphasis in Exhibition Design.
